Photography

I bought my first digital camera in January 2006. For ages I wandered around quite happily snapping away without a clue what I was doing - just leaving everything set on automatic and hoping for the best. Every so often I would get lucky and take a photo that was actually worth printing.

Hence I decided it would be good to find out what all those little buttons did, so I enrolled on the first ever session of the OU's T189 Digital Photography: creating and sharing better images course.

T189 taught me the basics of digital photography (covered in my blog post from 14 July 2007). I really enjoyed the course, and while I will never be a talented photographer, I am pleased with the progress I've made. Some of the photos I've taken are quite attractive (IMHO) and I hope that my photography will continue to improve as I practice.
